Heyyy, my name is Nathanael, and I’m a 13 year old boy who likes basketball, rap music (Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne and Kanye West are my favourites) and sprinting. I’m from Indonesia and go to school at UWCSEA Dover (in Singapore). My favourite type of art is photography, as the concept of capturing a moment in life right at the moment, and making it interesting and memorable is pretty cool. Below is a picture my dad took of me in Belitung, Indonesia, in which I edited. So far, it’s my favourite piece of art i’ve worked on :) I’d like feedback on how I could make photos more interesting and amusing to people’s eyes. Thankssssss
Nathanael, I really enjoyed thinking about the story behind this work. With your manipulation of size and scale, it seems like the figure is pitted against the elements. Some great storytelling thorough your visual. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteI like how you got the waves as they hit the rock. Why did you take the photo at this time not later or earlier? I would have had the person stand with their shoulders back more so it gives off the look of him standing strong to nature; because now he looks like he is losing to nature.

Hi, Nathanael. I'm Charlotte. I love you picture! I love the black sillouette agenst the bright blue sky. This adds a very adventurous feel. I too, love photograpy. How did you edit the photo? If you love this picture, in future ones try to experiment with the background of the picture, also possibly the frame of the photo. In this one, there is a round-ish shape sticking out of the left edge of the frame. A rock, perhaps? Awesome picture! Nice job.

I'm not that interested in photography but I couldn't scroll past yours. The setting looks like some kind of rocky beach with a boy (I'm assuming that's you). DeleteOne thing I really enjoy about this photo is how you managed to silhouette everything in this photo except the water, it really adds more emphasis to the water and how good the water looks. I would like to ask how you managed to do this do this silhouette on your camera? Something I would probably change in this photo is I would probably add more of the sun in the image just to make it look even better than it already is. Great job either way.
